  • Microchip identification compliant with ISO 11784/11785.

  • Valid rabies vaccination, given at least 21 days before travel.

  • EU Pet Passport or an official veterinary health certificate.

  • General veterinary health check confirming the animal is fit to travel.

BIRDS

Bird transport in Bulgaria requires:

  • Veterinary health certificate, issued within 48 hours before travel.
