For dogs and cats travelling to Ireland, requirements include:

Valid rabies vaccination, at least 21 days before entry.

EU Pet Passport or Animal Health Certificate issued by an authorised vet.

Tapeworm (Echinococcus) treatment for dogs, administered by a vet 24–120 hours before entry (mandatory for all dogs).

Health check certifying the pet is fit to travel.
