DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED TO TRANSPORT PETS IN DENMARK

 

Travelling with pets to or within Denmark requires compliance with Danish and EU regulations.

DOG AND CATS

 

For dogs and cats entering or travelling within Denmark:

  • EU Pet Passport or Animal Health Certificate issued by an authorised veterinarian.

  • Microchip identification compliant with ISO 11784/11785 standards.

  • Valid rabies vaccination, administered at least 21 days before entry.

  • Tapeworm (Echinococcus) treatment for dogs if travelling from high-risk countries.

BIRDS
